What’s new in version 2.0.6:

  • New: Device Management got new interface. The main reason was to move devices, device groups and social accounts under the team ownership. Devices can be still assigned to team members, but they stay under the team’s ownership. New improved UI is visualising what segment or experiment each device and group is currently assigned to & enables easy management.
  • New: Now Segment boxes in Dashboard have a device icon in bottom right corner indicating the number of assigned devices, in case there are any. This makes finding out which segments have specific devices assigned much easier. We hope this will ease your job a bit!
  • New: Features now have Default Variant to rule them all! Default Variants are a new important change that we introduced to let you define the expected structure of the feature content and assign pretty clear and detailed rules about value changes that can be done. Default Variant has a Construct mode where you can define the value types and limitations, property adding rules and much more. All features that currently have no default variants can stay that way, but there is an option to make any existing variant to be the default one.

  • Fixed: We noticed that creating a new team takes a bit too long and decided to change that. Now it happens much more faster and hopefully will save some precious seconds during your hard working day!
  • Fixed: Also we noticed that large levels are loading a bit slower than they should. Quick investigation showed a vast opportunity to accelerate that process, which we executed immediately! Enjoy quicker and smoother load for any level variant form now on!

What’s new in version 2.0.5:

  • New: We released new version of JSON Editor’s more functional UI. But this is just the beginning, so stay tuned!
  • New: Segments are important, we made their publishing easier and more transparent. In Segments page you will see now published/unpublished segments to be separated nicely, and there is Publish functional in Segment popups allowing you to publish segments from the popup itself, without having to navigate to Dashboard.
  • New: SALTR pages in browser got nice and descriptive titles allowing you to operated with multiple open SALTR pages.
  • New: Dashboard’s segment section is nicely compacted when you have many segments for your app published. This makes it easier to use the Dashboard and manage your segments!

  • Fixed: For some reason it was possible to delete a published feature variant - which is quite wrong! We had to fix this bug, and we did!
  • Fixed: In feature publish dialog we were showing the list of all segments, including the segments that were not published in the Dashboard. That was unnecessary, and some lists got cluttered because of that. Now publish segments lists are tidy and up to the point!
  • Fixed: We had an issue with showing correct dates in some charts, and that issue is gone now ;)!

What’s new in version 2.0.2:

  • New: Asset instances in Level Editor’s Canvas 2D boards now have tags and everybody knows that tags make life better!
  • New: Migrating data should be easy! So now you can just particularly migrate certain Level Collections from an app instance to another one.
  • New: We no longer have a Captcha in our signup form, as even the word Captcha is hard to spell.

  • Fixed: We added a huge boost to JSON Editor’s performance! Drag & drop multiple rows and work with large lists of properties seamlessly from now on.
  • Fixed: SALTR’s client was crushing after board duplication and then canceling that change. It is fixed now!
  • Fixed: Alternative position markers on Canvas 2D boards became not draggable at some point, and not draggable stuff is bad! Drag those alternative position as much as you want from now on!
  • Fixed: Weird issues came up with asset alignment in Canvas 2D boards, and now they are gone.
  • Fixed: Snapshot variants are not meant to be migrated, but they did in few cases. We fixed that so you don’t have that unnecessary variants gathering in your new shiny app instance.
  • Fixed: A small but annoying issue of Checkpoints colors not being included in migrated data is fixed now!

What’s new in version 2.0.1:

  • New: At last! We have a brand new First Time User Experience workflow for Features and Levels Editor. Now new users will be much happier to get to know how things work right away.
  • Fixed: there was a situation where board could be duplicated and immediately went online as a copy, which could create some issues if your level would have been live. So now duplicated boards are created with API Output turned off.
  • Fixed: We did a lot of UI improvements all over SALTR. Enjoy!
  • Fixed: In our awesome Level Editor there was an issue with chunk brushes. They were stopping to work after you switched your layers;
  • Fixed: there was an issue with hidden layers from View Mode in Level Editor. When you were coming back from Edit Mode - those layers were shown but icons were stating that they are hidden. This mismatch is fixed now.

What’s new in version 2.0.0:

  • New: Segment Snapshots are here to fix a big gap in app development workflow. Create segment snapshots and import them into your builds as default set of features and levels. By using our latest SDK you will be able to track which app version builds are containing which snapshots, and publish variants knowing what are you changing exactly for each app version.
  • New: In a tricky world of apps, your IDFV can change time to time! This is annoying, so we changed Devices to have multiple ID-s targeting each instance in your app. We hope this comes handy!
  • New: Hooray! We drastically improved the way you can publish features in custom segments. No need to run back and forth from default segment to custom one you created.

  • Fixed: We had an issue with required features, that was not making possible to duplicate them. Now it’s gone.
  • Fixed: We also decided to make required setting for all new features ON by default. Seriously, none-required features are not that usual.
  • Fixed: Sometimes when you were deleting Alternative Position for an asset in our Level Editor, it was not possible to switch focus to other assets afterwards. That was quite disappointing. So we fixed it.
  • Fixed: 3D Expose tool had some issues with dragging, which was ruining partly the amazing feeling you had while rotating your multilayered boards in 3 axises. It should’ve been fixed, and it is now!
